RDA-Arbeitshilfe und Marc-Relatoren-Übersetzung

Die „Arbeitshilfe; Beziehungskennzeichnungen: Beziehungen zwischen einer Ressource und Personen, Familien und Körperschaften, die mit ihr in Verbindung stehen (Anhang I)“ umfasst eine Liste von Marc-Relatoren samt englischen und deutschen Bezeichnungen.

Im hbz nutzen wir die Arbeitshilfe für die Beziehungskennzeichnungen und die Rollen der Beteiligten in unserem lobid-resources auszuweisen. Dafür haben wir die Arbeitshilfe in eine TSV übertragen: https://github.com/hbz/lobid-resources/blob/master/src/main/resources/alma/maps/marcRel.tsv

Da im hbz im hbz die Datei nun auch in einem anderen Projekt nutzen wollen, hat ein Kollege von mir eine neue Version aufgesetzt und wird diese im hbz/lookup-tables Repo speichern.

Dabei ist ihm aufgefallen, dass in der RDA-Arbeitshilfe nicht alle Marc-Relatoren der LoC auftauchen und entsprechend viele Übersetzungen der Marc-Relatoren ebenfalls fehlen.

Die Datei ist mittlerweile auch von 2017. Weiß jemand, ob diese Datei bald aktualisiert wird oder ob es eine umfassendere Liste mit Übersetzungen der Marc-Relatoren existiert?

Es wäre schön, dazu auch eine wohlstrukturierte Liste auf https://sta.dnb.de finden zu können (die sich auch mit SPARQL beliebig abfragen lässt, à la RDA-Arbeitshilfen: Normierte Begriffe zur Beschreibung des Inhalts (ehemals AH-007) auch als Tabelle? - #10 von Tracy_Arndt) . Momentan gibt es da nichts, wenn ich das richtig sehe.

Die Arbeitshilfe AH-017 wird mit dem nächsten Release in die STA-Dokumentationsplattform überführt und voraussichtlich am 26.06.2026 veröffentlicht. Damit sind auch die Beziehungskennzeichnungen für die Beziehungen zwischen einer Ressource und Akteuren (Personen, Familien und Körperschaften) auf einer Seite zusammengefasst und in der Plattform vorhanden. Diese Liste wird allerdings nur die deutsche Benennung, deren Definition und den MARC-Relator-Code enthalten. Im Moment werden diese Beziehungskennzeichnungen nur bei den einzelnen Elementen, z. B. Geistige Schöpfer/Geistiger Schöpfer (https://sta.dnb.de/doc/RDA-E-W135#Liste-der-Beziehungskennzeichnungen) eines Werks oder Mitwirkende/Mitwirkender (https://sta.dnb.de/doc/RDA-E-E165#Liste-der-Beziehungskennzeichnungen), … ganz am Ende des Elements gelistet. Die Liste der Beziehungskennzeichnungen für Beziehungen zwischen Werken, Expressionen, Manifestationen und Exemplaren soll dann im Release 2026/2, voraussichtlich Anfang Dezember 2026, folgen. Wir bemühen uns diese Listen aktuell zu halten, sollten MARC-Relatoren fehlen, bitten wir um einen kurzen Hinweis an afs@dnb.de.

Vielen Dank für die Rückmeldung. Das klingt schon mal gut.

Wie es ausschaut, fehlen in der Arbeitshilfe zumindest ca. die Hälfte der Marc-Relatoren, die die LoC ausweist.

In dieser Änderungsdarstellung von meinem Kollegen, kann man sehen für welche Marc-Relatoren aktuell keine deutsche Übersetzung existiert, er hat selbst lediglich die englische Bezeichnung in großgeschriebener Form übernommen. Durch die Änderung, sieht man aber welche Marc-Relatoren aktuell nicht in der Arbeitshilfe vorhanden sind.

Ich werde das auch nochmal an die Mail schicken.

Danke, @JNeumann . Ich habe mal geschaut, wie mensch sich die Liste über den SPARQL Endpoint ziehen können. Wir brauchen das nämlich im Kontext eines lobid-resources-Tickets.

Zwischen der SPARQL und der alphabetischen Liste gibt es aber einige diskrepanzen:

Die Diskrepanzen scheinen sich auf abweichende Codes in den Namen zurückführen zu lassen, oder? Beispiele:

Wie auch immer, die SPARQL-Liste scheint ja alles abzubilden, von daher können wir die ja für unsere Zwecke in lobid nutzen.

Ich hab nochmal geschaut, es sind drei Probleme:

Die Codes in STA-Plattform entsprechen nicht immer den Codes in den Namen. Erstes
- Verfasser eines Nachworts → waw und aft: waw ist der korrekte Marc-Relator Code, aft existiert nicht mehr
- Verfasser eines Geleitworts → wfw und aui: wfw ist der korrekte Marc-Relator-Code aui existiert nicht mehr
- Letterer → ltr und ill: ltr ist der korrekte Marc-Relator code, ill wird auch in STA bereits vom Illustrator genutzt
Beim Landschaftsarchitekt gibt es ein Problem bei der Formatierung des Labels und dieser fehlt auch in der alphabetischen Liste: lsa (Landschaftsarchitekt) – STA Dokumentationsplattform
In der Alphabetischen Liste auf der STA-Seite fehlen zudem `own` Besitzer und `fmo` Früherer Besitzer.
Eher ein Befund als ein wirkliches Problem: Für Beziehungen die sowohl auf Expression als auch Werk bezogen werden können, gibt es anscheinend unterschiedliche Items im STA Wiki. Bsp:
- Kartograf (Werk) (ctg): Kartograf (Werk) (ctg) – STA Dokumentationsplattform
- Kartograf (Expression) (ctg): Kartograf (Expression) (ctg) – STA Dokumentationsplattform
